New Zealand issues its first Islamic postage stamp in 2022

New Zealand Post issued its first Islamic postage stamp last April to commemorate Eid al-Fitr 1443 AH. The stamps feature Arabic calligraphy above a silhouette of a mosque, along with the Hijri year 1443 AH, and bear the inscription “Eid Mubarak.” The gilded stamps were designed by calligrapher Mohammed Waqas and his wife Samira.
